Update

Hey guys, just a quick update for ya'll (i'm a cowboy).

I've only got a few days of exams left, so I hope to get back to our story. For now you'll just have to make due with some of my older stock. What are we doing now... The Artist? Ok, I've still got the Monopoly plot ready to go if I need it. I hope these goofy strips are tiding you over. If you're addicted to City Folk (which you all are) then they should. Haha.

Anyways. Oh, yes! Go see Book of Eli (warning - violence and language). I thought it was incredible, but I want to hear what you think. Let me know.

How do I look?

Lately Ryan has gotten very close to perfecting the look of Foster and Mel, (at least I think so) but for this section of "Foster the Artist" we've just now gotten into after over a year of it sitting in our big book of City Folk, we'd like to know which look you prefer.
Some of the changes are more obvious such as Mel's massive nose getting shorter with time, the more detailed backgrounds, or even the fact that Foster has gotten more consistent with his roundness.
I for one greatly prefer the more recent look but hearing from the fans is always much more encouraging and more likely to effect where this comic heads in the future.
So yeah, any thought, ideas, or just plain criticism would be great!

Finals Break

That's right folks. I'm taking a short break from City Folk. Probably only a couple of weeks while I finish up my schooling. Finals are a week away.

But we will continue to update regularly with an old story arc that I wrote almost a year ago. Yeah, it looks a bit old. But the jokes are great!

Avatar is Good

Hey folks,

what is the biggest movie of 2010 so far? Avatar obviously. As of right now, I believe it is the second highest grossing movie of all time behind only Titanic (James Camerons other big hit). If you haven't seen it yet, go ahead and do so. We loved it (seen it twice now.)
If you have seen it, and you saw it in 3D let us know how it was. We don't have 3D here; unless we want to drive an hour in winter. Which we don't.

Important Stuff

Now, you may have noticed from the occasional news post here or maybe the fact that our comic is clean haha, but while our comic isn't a Christian themed comic, we are in fact Christians.
Though we aren't going to be shoving our beliefs down your throat, we'd greatly appreciate any questions or anything you may want to know.

Alright! Ryan's on his way back home from his little trip to our neighbour province (it's like a state but canadian for you americans) Alberta. So you can expect some new updates coming as we continue the story along. Expect a few surprises and hopefully not too many inside jokes.
